The Role

Work Model: Onsite

Work Schedule: Full-Time (40+ hours per week, overtime as required)

Reports To: Warehouse Supervisor

Summary / Primary Role

The Warehouse Operator is responsible for safely loading, unloading, receiving, staging, and moving freight throughout the warehouse, loading docks, and yard. This role supports daily warehouse operations by ensuring freight is accurately received, stored, and prepared for outbound shipment while maintaining a clean, organized, and safety-focused work environment. The position may require working in refrigerated environments and is classified as a safety-sensitive role.

What

You’ll Do

We are seeking a dependable and safety-focused warehouse professional who thrives in a fast-paced logistics environment and takes pride in accuracy, teamwork, and operational efficiency.

Freight Handling & Warehouse Operations

Load and unload freight from trailers, containers, railcars, and trucks.

Inspect, count, weigh, and verify incoming and outgoing freight while identifying any shortages or damage.

Stage freight in designated warehouse locations and prepare shipments for outbound transportation.

Complete warehouse documentation accurately and communicate any exceptions to warehouse and office personnel.

Equipment Operation

Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, pallet walkers, hand dollies, shrink wrap machines, chain saws, and various powered and manual warehouse tools.

Utilize handheld RF scanners to track inventory movement and warehouse transactions.

Maintain warehouse equipment and assist with general housekeeping throughout the warehouse, loading docks, and yard.

Safety & Team Support

Follow all company safety policies and procedures while maintaining a clean and organized work environment.

Work independently and collaboratively to meet daily operational goals.

Deliver excellent customer service while supporting internal and external stakeholders.
