Warehouse Order Processing Lead​/Supervisor 2

Description

We are looking for an experienced Warehouse Order Processing Supervisor to lead our high-volume fulfillment operation. You will be responsible for ensuring orders are picked accurately and shipped out on time while managing a team of 30-40 warehouse associates. We're also looking for someone who can bring a fresh perspective — reviewing our current systems and processes and recommending improvements where needed.

• Oversee daily order processing from pick to ship, ensuring accuracy and on-time fulfillment
• Lead a team of 30-40 warehouse associates
• Organize and prioritize the order of picking and outbound shipments
• Monitor key metrics such as throughput, accuracy, and on-time shipment rates
• Review existing workflows and systems and recommend practical improvements
• Maintain a safe, organized, and efficient warehouse environment

• Minimum Education:
  
  High School Diploma or equivalent
• 1-2+ years of experience in warehouse fulfillment, order processing, or distribution; more seasoned experience preferred
• Supervisory experience required

• Ability to read and analyze operational reports and fulfillment metrics
• Strong organizational and prioritization skills in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
• Ability to effectively communicate and present information to management, associates, and staff
• Ability to conduct team meetings and lead shift briefings
• Proficiency with warehouse management systems (WMS) or order management software
• Demonstrated leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to build effective working relationships at all levels

• Demonstrated ability to think strategically about warehouse operations and long-term efficiency
• Proven track record of identifying operational gaps and developing lasting, effective solutions
• A self-directed problem solver who can assess systems independently and drive meaningful change
• Ability to clearly communicate operational status, challenges, and recommendations to upper management
• Comfortable presenting data, metrics, and improvement plans to leadership in a concise and professional manner
• Proactively keeps leadership informed on operational developments and progress

• Constantly stand and/or walk during shift
• Constantly communicate with others to exchange information
• Occasionally ascend or descend stairs, ramps, or ladders
• Occasionally operate warehouse equipment or powered tools
• Ability to move objects up to 30 pounds constantly; may occasionally move or lift objects up to 50+ pounds (team lift as needed)
• Occasionally work in noisy or high-traffic warehouse environments

INDEPENDENT JUDGMENT Performs duties within the scope of general company policies, procedures, and objectives. Analyzes operational problems and performs needs assessments. Uses judgment in adapting guidelines to achieve desired results. Regularly exercises independent judgment within accepted practices and makes recommendations that affect procedures and day-to-day operations.

• 22-26 per hour, based on experience
