Duration: Contract (6-9 months)
Location: from Santa Paula moving to Santa Clarita, CA
Hours:
- 6:30 am or 7:00 am start time
- Monday – Friday, some Saturdays
We are seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager to oversee construction projects from start to finish. This is a hands‑on leadership role requiring someone who can take ownership of a project, build and lead field teams, coordinate subcontractors and vendors, manage budgets, and drive projects to successful completion.
The ideal candidate has a strong construction background, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to confidently manage multiple personalities in a fast‑paced environment. We're looking for a self‑starter who can keep projects moving, solve problems proactively, and maintain strong relationships with clients, vendors, and subcontractors.
Responsibilities & Qualifications- Manage construction projects from start to finish, ensuring they are completed safely, on time, within budget, and meet quality standards.
- Build, lead, and coordinate field crews, subcontractors, vendors, and suppliers throughout all phases of the project.
- Source and negotiate with subcontractors and vendors, including pricing, contracts, and project resources.
- Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, cost tracking, build out office space, move office location, change orders, and project documentation.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for owners, clients, subcontractors, and vendors while maintaining strong working relationships.
- Resolve project issues, scheduling conflicts, and field challenges while keeping projects on track.
- Demonstrated construction project management experience with the ability to successfully manage projects from cradle to grave.
- Strong leadership, negotiation, communication, organizational, and problem‑solving skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and personalities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and Outlook).
- High school diploma required.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
- Local candidates are strongly preferred.
