Foreman Manager
Job Description
The Foreman Manager leads and coordinates daily production operations to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality output in a construction and precast manufacturing environment. This role oversees production supervisors and frontline teams, collaborates closely with cross-functional stakeholders, and ensures strict adherence to safety, quality, and production standards. The Foreman Manager drives performance, fosters a culture of accountability and respect, and supports continuous improvement across all production shifts.
Responsibilities
* Lead and supervise production supervisors and frontline teams across all shifts to achieve daily, weekly, and monthly production goals.
* Ensure execution of the production schedule as specified by the Master Scheduler, adjusting labor and resources as needed.
* Review weekly production requirements, verify material availability, and align labor resources to meet demand.
* Motivate employees to achieve performance targets while fostering a culture of accountability, respect, and teamwork.
* Lead by example in safety, ensuring all safety procedures and OSHA requirements are followed and that employees use appropriate PPE.
* Maintain accurate employee attendance records and performance data for all production personnel.
* Oversee production and inventory data accuracy, including cycle counting and updates within the ERP system.
* Ensure workstation documentation, forms, and production reporting are complete, accurate, and up to date.
* Lead the Maintenance Supervisor and support troubleshooting of equipment and facility issues to ensure uninterrupted operations.
* Coordinate with maintenance, engineering, and logistics teams to resolve bottlenecks and optimize plant performance.
* Hold regular departmental meetings to communicate changes in policies, procedures, goals, and expectations.
* Lead and coordinate the monthly safety committee meeting to review performance, identify risks, and implement improvements.
* Lead and coordinate the monthly quality committee meeting to address quality issues and enhance product standards.
* Actively participate in and promote continuous improvement initiatives such as 5S, Lean, and Kaizen.
* Ensure compliance with construction and precast production standards, including quality checks and inspections.
* Support and enforce scheduling, reporting, and documentation practices to maintain operational transparency.
* Perform other duties as assigned by the Plant Manager to support overall plant and business objectives.
Essential Skills
* Proven leadership experience in manufacturing operations, preferably in precast, construction, or heavy manufacturing environments.
* Hands-on experience with production processes, equipment troubleshooting, and workflow optimization.
* Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, work instructions, and repair or assembly operations.
* Experience using ERP systems to manage production demand, orders, and inventory.
* Strong cycle counting and inventory management skills.
* Working knowledge of construction practices, construction management, and coordination within a yard or construction site environment.
* Demonstrated commitment to safety, including familiarity with OSHA standards and safe work practices.
* Ability to manage scheduling, reporting, and production coordination across multiple shifts.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills to lead teams, conduct meetings, and collaborate with cross-functional departments.
* Physical capability to stand and walk for up to 12 hours daily.
* Physical capability to bend, stoop, and perform repetitive motions such as shoveling, sweeping, and fastening for extended periods.
* Ability and willingness to work overtime and shifts, including weekends, as needed.

* Experience in precast production or similar heavy manufacturing environments.
* Background in construction coordination or construction management.
