- Provide explanation of Division duties & responsibilities either orally or by written correspondence.
- Research & respond to internal &/or external inquiries.
- Coordinate daily workflow of office.
- Update &/or maintain office manuals &/or notebook.
- Type &/or edit a variety of confidential backgrounds &/or investigative reports for OCI.
- Assist in gathering background information for new hires & providing that information to Contract Background Investigators (CBI).
- Schedule fingerprinting appointments for new hires.
- Utilize various law enforcement databases to perform Computerized Criminal History checks (CCH) &/or suspect queries for OCI &/or Vehicle Theft Fraud Unit (VTFU).
- Perform confidential transcriptions as requested by OCI personnel.
- Assist outside law enforcement agencies with special projects for cases.

Qualifications1 yr. trg. or 1 yr. exp. in secretarial science or business office applications. For positions requiring technical terminology, applicants must also have 6 mos. trg. or 6 mos. exp. in relevant technical terminology.
