Assist the Nursing Leadership Team Duty 2:
Data collection and entry. Development of spreadsheets, PowerPoint presentations, forms, letters, memorandums and reports for various projects. Work with IT to develop reports as needed in EMR or other software programs. Duty 3:
Schedules meetings. Coordinates agenda items to be included in various meetings. Prepares materials for meetings. Takes and transcribes minutes of these meetings as necessary. Duty 4:
Maintains files of general correspondence and reports; financial, legal, procedural, and historical matters. Maintains files of material sent to or received from local, state, and national organizations, boards, councils, and committees in the health care field. Duty 5:
Frequent telephone interaction with physicians, community members, ESC, department managers, associates, auxiliary members and any other customers who contact the department. Coordinates conference calls. Screens calls and ensures complaints are followed up on in a timely manner. Duty 6:
Works independently on projects from start to finish. Performs work in a professional manner, neat, accurate, and completed timely. Duty 7:
Assist with coordination of nursing special events. Duty 8:

Coordinates the New Associate Orientation event on a monthly basis. Ensures accommodations are arranged and ensures administrative tasks are completed at the beginning and conclusion of each event. Interacts with associates and partakes in delivering content at the event as needed. Duty 10:
Performs other duties as needed. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS High school diploma or GED equivalent Demonstrated Typing, English and math skills Intermediate skill level in use of computers (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) Proficiency with office equipment, computers, medical terminology A valid driver's license is required (if you do not have a valid Ohio driver’s license you must obtain one within one year of your residency in the state) and you must also meet BVHS's company fleet policy requirements Positive service-oriented interpersonal and communication skills required.
Minimum exposure in regard to universal precautions A valid driver's license is required (if you do not have a valid Ohio driver’s license you must obtain one within 30 days of your residency in the state). You must also meet BVHS's company fleet policy and insurance company requirements, and any other requirements that may be required to operate a vehicle.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Minimum 2 years Administrative experience preferred PHYSICAL DEMANDS This position requires a full range of body motions with intermittent activities in sitting, walking, lifting, bending, squatting, kneeling, twisting, and standing. The associate must be able to sit up to seven hours a day. This position requires the individual to lift 20-50 pounds, and the ability to reach work above the shoulder.
The associate must have excellent verbal communication skills to perform daily tasks. This position requires corrected vision and hearing in the normal range. The associate must have excellent eye/hand coordination and finger dexterity.
