Travel Excavation Superintendent
Location: Projects across Ohio
Pay: $150,000/year + Company Truck + Fuel Card + Per Diem + Weekly Pay
Schedule: Monday - Friday | Full-Time
Lead the Way in Civil Construction!
Gillmann Services, Inc. is looking for a hands-on, experienced Excavation Superintendent to take charge of major civil excavation projects throughout Ohio.
What You'll Do
- Take the lead on day-to-day field operations for excavation projects
- Work closely with estimating and project management teams during handoffs
- Plan, schedule, and coordinate crews, equipment, and materials
- Oversee site layout - elevations, benchmarks, and construction points
- Ensure every project meets quality, safety, and timeline goals
- Hold daily site checks and weekly safety/schedule meetings
- Build a strong, motivated crew and keep communication flowing
- Partner with clients to make sure expectations are met - and exceeded
- Wrap up projects smoothly with punch lists and closeout support
- Solid experience in civil construction, excavation, concrete, or underground utilities
- Proven leadership and communication skills
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities
- Ability to coordinate multiple teams and vendors
- Willingness to travel to project sites across Ohio
