Review drawings, specifications, and contracts to prepare accurate project cost estimates
Analyze labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractor needs
Collaborate with project managers, superintendents, and engineers to ensure scope is captured
Research and source material and equipment pricing
Prepare proposals, bid packages, and supporting documentation for clients
Support business development and strategic planning by providing insights on project costs and risks
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems and construction methods
- Experience in estimating for commercial, industrial, or institutional electrical projects
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and specifications
- Excellent communication and organization skills
- Proficiency with estimating software (preferred) and Microsoft Office
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills
