Kirk Corporation is looking for a detail-oriented Construction Estimator to join our team. In this role, you'll play a key part in evaluating project opportunities and developing accurate estimates that help bring large-scale construction projects to life.

• Review drawings, specifications, and bid documents to determine project scope and requirements
• Prepare complete cost estimates, including labor, materials, equipment, subcontractors, and production costs
• Solicit and evaluate subcontractor and supplier quotations
• Collaborate with company leadership to assess project risks, scheduling, and overall feasibility
• Maintain current pricing information and estimating databases
• Attend pre-bid meetings, site visits, and project walkthroughs as needed
• Assist with bid preparation, proposal development, and project turnover meetings
• Work closely with operations teams to ensure a smooth transition from estimating to construction

• Previous experience in construction estimating, project engineering, or a related construction role
• Ability to interpret construction drawings, specifications, and contract documents
• Strong analytical, organizational, and mathematical skills
• Experience using estimating software and Microsoft Office applications
• Ability to manage multiple deadlines while maintaining a high level of accuracy
• Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills
• Experience with Timberline/Sage Estimating or similar software is a plus
