Summary:

* Direct care and supervision of children ages 18 months-11 years of age.
* Duties to include: lesson planning, screening, assessment, documentation of learning, daily communication with parents, staff and supervisor.
* Other duties as assigned.

Essential Functions:

* See Appendix D of the OFA contract.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
* Knowledge of ODFJS licensing rules; SUTO rules; a strong foundation in child development
* Verbal and written speaking skills; basic computer skills; digital camera skills; table skills.
* Ability to multi-task, make decisions quickly and under pressure, collaborate effectively with other teaching staff and manager.
* Attention to detail; positive attitude; punctual; reliable; strong commitment to the field of ECEMinimum Education/

Experience:

* Associate degree or two-year technical certificate
* 2 years of experience working with children ages 18 months-11 years in a group setting.
* Ability to pass both BCI and FBI background check as well as an "approved to work" status on JFS form 01176 per ODJFS childcare licensing rules.
