* Candidate should have a great deal of patience to work with students with academic, social and behavioral needs
* Provide appropriate support and encouragement to students
* Assist students with class work in small groups and individually
* Work under the supervision/direction of the classroom teacher
* Be willing to be trained to meet the behavioral and educational needs of the students
* Assist with toileting and personal hygiene for students
