* Provides technical support to the site(s) in order to meet business objectives
* Participates in projects related to materials, process, and product development
* Contributes to technology sharing programs and technical development for sites and Divisions
* Fosters relationships with customers, vendors, and technical trade organizations
* Screens materials and prepares implementation methods
* Conceptualizes and fulfills scale-up methods for serial production in cooperation with Manufacturing Engineering
* Analyzes and interprets physical and electrochemical test and measurement data#

Qualifications:

* Bachelor’s of Science in Chemistry, Materials Science, Polymer Science, Engineering, or related technical discipline.
* 2–5+ years of technical industry experience, ideally in thermoplastics, compounding, polymer processing, or materials development.
* Working knowledge of thermoplastic processing methods (e.g., extrusion, injection molding, compounding).
* Ability to interpret customer requirements and translate them into material specifications and development plans.
* Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and data interpretation capabilities.
* Excellent communication skills for internal collaboration and customer‑facing support.
