Unified Talent Group is supporting the search for a Structural Engineer to support design and engineering efforts within a manufacturing organization focused on infrastructure-related products. This role is responsible for managing design projects, developing engineering solutions, and ensuring product designs meet customer specifications and production requirements.
In this role, you will collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to deliver high-quality designs, support project execution, and ensure accuracy from concept through production.
Key Responsibilities- Manage structural design projects from initial review through final deliverables
- Develop and review engineering designs, calculations, and technical drawings
- Interpret project specifications and ensure designs meet customer requirements
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure designs are feasible and cost-effective to produce
- Review shop drawings and technical documentation for accuracy and quality
- Provide technical guidance and support to customers and internal stakeholders
- Collaborate with operations and estimating teams to support project planning and execution
- Utilize engineering software to develop and validate designs
- Support continuous improvement initiatives related to design processes and standards
- Provide occasional on-site support to assist with installation or project challenges
- Strong knowledge of structural or civil design principles
- Experience with engineering design software such as AutoCAD, Solid Works, or similar tools
- Familiarity with structural analysis tools and calculations
- Understanding of fabrication processes and manufacturing constraints
- Knowledge of industry standards and engineering best practices preferred
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Civil, Structural, Mechanical, or related field)
- 8+ years of experience in structural design or related engineering roles
- Experience supporting projects in manufacturing, construction, or infrastructure environments preferred
