Project Engineer, Engineering Design & Technologists

Responsibilities

• Collaborates with affected departments during project development to vet resource estimates, schedules, business benefits, and environmental/health/safety impacts.
• Facilitates project detailed design and technical reviews to ensure design meets corporate engineering standards.
• Prepares bid requests for material, labor, and equipment and evaluates proposals on sound engineering and business principles.
• Supports multiple projects simultaneously of varying magnitude and complexity from conception to commissioning and start‑up.
• Acts as a safety leader who upholds company core values and prioritizes personal and process safety.
• Tracks project budgets, work orders, purchase orders, schedules, and maintains a firm understanding of potential issues before they arise.

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from a four‑year accredited college or university.
• Civil, Mechanical, or similar engineering disciplines preferred.
• 3+ years of industry experience preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills required.

Demonstrates expertise in project management, including resource estimation, budget tracking, and safety leadership, while ensuring compliance with engineering standards. Strong communication skills facilitate collaboration across departments to drive project success from conception to commissioning.
