A healthcare opportunity is available for a multi-modality imaging technologist with expertise in two imaging modalities such as CT and X-ray. This position offers evening and overnight shifts, including a structured schedule with every fourth weekend and alternating holiday coverage. Candidates with solid hospital experience and proficiency with GE imaging equipment are preferred.

Role Responsibilities:
  • Perform imaging procedures using two modalities, commonly CT and X-ray, adhering to clinical protocols and safety standards.
  • Acquire patient medical histories and verify patient identity before imaging.
  • Operate imaging equipment, including power injectors for contrast administration as necessary.
  • Provide radiation and patient safety, ensuring protective measures are consistently applied.
  • Perform venipuncture and administer contrast agents as prescribed.
  • Follow approved workflows and document clinical information accurately in electronic health records.
  • Engage in continuing education to maintain certifications and clinical competencies.
Qualifications and Experience:
  • Minimum 2 years' Radiology Tech experience and 2 years' CT experience in a hospital setting required.
  • Certification with ARRT or equivalent for required modalities, with ability to obtain additional certifications within 12 months.
  • Current Ohio State license and BLS certification preferred.
  • Experience working with emergency department patients and familiarity with GE CT and X-ray machines preferred.
  • Preferably has previous travel assignment experience.
Working Conditions:
  • This role demands physical activity including lifting and maneuvering patients and equipment.
  • Exposure to variable lighting, noise levels, and potentially infectious materials is expected.
  • Professionals must demonstrate strong communication, critical thinking, and patient-centered care skills.
