We are seeking a skilled and driven System Administrator to join our IT team and support the backbone of our fast-paced logistics operations. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining, configuring, and ensuring the reliable performance of our IT infrastructure, including systems that power warehouse operations, transportation management, inventory control, and real-time data flow.
This is a critical position where your expertise will directly impact system uptime, operational efficiency, and the overall success of our supply chain technology.
Key Responsibilities- Serve as the primary interface between IT, customers, and internal teams for new and ongoing projects
- Provide Tier 2/3 technical support for escalated issues
- Maintain and troubleshoot workstations, printers, mobile devices, barcode scanners, and networking equipment
- Support and implement company-wide IT projects with strong problem-solving and collaboration skills
- Participate in auditing, compliance, and risk assessments; ensure accurate network inventory
- Design and implement network solutions aligned with company standards
- Collaborate with business partners to support and enhance in-house and third-party systems
- Recommend and drive continuous improvement initiatives
- Mentor junior team members through knowledge sharing and technical guidance
- Administer Microsoft 365 and Active Directory environments
- Manage cloud-based backups, email security, and identity management systems
- Oversee backup scheduling, validation, and recovery processes
- Support disaster recovery planning, testing, and incident response
- Ensure data integrity and high availability of mission-critical systems
- Act as a Subject Matter Expert for document management systems, Power Apps, and other key enterprise applications
- Bachelor’s degree preferred (Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field)
- Or Associate degree / technical certification with 4–7 years of relevant experience
- Strong experience with:
- Microsoft Windows Server & Active Directory
- Microsoft 365 administration
- PC hardware and networking equipment
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, Microsoft 365)
- Experience with backup systems, security practices, and disaster recovery planning
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and documentation abilities
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-demand environment
- Team-oriented mindset with leadership potential
- Proven ability to multitask and prioritize work efficiently
- Passion for helping others and delivering exceptional support
- Ability to mentor and develop junior IT staff
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Ability to travel to company locations as needed
