Lab Technician

IT Generalist with the following skills:

• VMWare administration, vCenter, Clusters, multi hosts nodes, and segmentation of guests.
• Cisco Networking – Routing, Switching, VLAN segmentation, Virtual route forwarding,
• Network attached Storage or Storage Area Networks
• Cisco ASA Firewall – Segmentation, rule implementation, Any connect VPN.
• Windows Active Directory Administration – Users, Group Policy management.
• Windows and Linux System Administration – Management of Domain Joined and standalone systems.
• Server Hardware maintenance – Monitor health, maintain hardware lifecycle, commissioning and decommissioning.
• Backup and Recovery tools – Veeam, Symantec, Acronis, Windows Backup, etc
• Understanding of packet capturing
• Awareness of Red Team methods.
• Ability to Collaborate with Lab Users to implement test plans.
• Ability to build out Lab infrastructure to meet usage growth.
• Ability to explore new technologies and participate in tool rationalization efforts.
• Document and communicate Lab usage methods and timelines.
• Collaborate with Architecture on growth needs.
• Work with Management to establish annual budget for Lab environment.
