Position Summary

The Dev Ops Platforms Leader is responsible for the strategy, governance, modernization, support, and enterprise adoption of the organization's Dev Ops platforms and software delivery ecosystem. This role provides leadership over the platforms, services, standards, and operational practices that enable secure, scalable, and efficient software delivery across the Digital Product Delivery, Digital Technology Services, and Data, Analytics & AI teams. This position leads the evolution of enterprise Dev Ops capabilities including Azure Dev Ops, Git Hub Enterprise, CI/CD platforms, release automation, source control, developer enablement tooling, application security integrations, quality engineering tooling, platform analytics, and related services.

The role is accountable for ensuring these platforms are reliable, well-governed, cost-effective, scalable, and aligned with enterprise engineering, security, compliance, and delivery objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manages daily operations of the team, providing guidance, mentorship, and driving culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
  • Oversees recruitment, development, retention, and performance to build strong talent.
  • Plans and leads low‑to‑medium‑complexity IT projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and adhere to quality standards.
  • Ensures the availability, reliability, and security of technology systems.
  • Collaborates with key stakeholders and internal groups to identify needs, deliver effective solutions, and support business objectives.
  • Defines and drives the Dev Sec Ops  strategy and roadmap aligned with business objectives, while promoting a culture of fast, secure delivery, continuous feedback, and learning.
  • Designs and manages enterprise‑grade Dev Sec Ops  platforms—including CI/CD pipelines, container orchestration, and automated testing—alongside infrastructure‑as‑code and configuration management for scalable, repeatable deployments.
  • Embeds security controls throughout the software delivery lifecycle, incorporating code analysis, vulnerability scanning, secret detection, and policy enforcement to ensure secure‑by‑default outcomes.
  • Oversees platform reliability, scalability, and cost efficiency through monitoring, alerting, and capacity planning across compute, storage, and orchestration layers, leveraging strong IT Service Management principles.
  • Implements robust governance practices including access controls, audit logging, compliance reporting, and secure credential management to meet regulatory and internal standards.
  • Continuously evaluates emerging Dev Sec Ops  tools and practices, fosters cross‑functional collaboration, and supports business‑aligned technology initiatives through budgeting and policy contributions.
Education and Experience

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Management Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or other computer‑related degree required. 10+ years of diversified IT experience required. Three (3) or more years of direct or indirect leadership experience required.
