- Safely operate overhead cranes to move large dies, steel coils, and heavy materials throughout the facility
- Use proper rigging techniques, including chains and C‑hooks, to securely lift and transport loads
- Perform lifts with precision while maintaining strict adherence to all safety procedures and protocols
- Inspect cranes, rigging, and lifting equipment before use and report any issues or concerns
- Coordinate movements with floor personnel to ensure safe and efficient operations
- Accurately position materials to support production and tooling changes
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area at all times
- Follow all company policies, OSHA guidelines, and crane certification requirements
- Assist with other material handling tasks as needed, including forklift operation (if trained)
- Support overtime and weekend work when production demands require it
