Under the general direction of an Area Manager and working as part of a production team, a production team member is responsible for performing various tasks required to operate production equipment and assemble jobs.

• Must wear required personal protective equipment: safety glasses, ear plugs, cut resistance sleeves, and gloves (all provided).
• Must adhere to all safety regulations and procedures and report any safety concerns to the Area Manager.
• Practice good safety habits while in the plant.
• Be able to successfully perform a minimum of 5 different production jobs, producing quality product at expected goals/targets.
• Remove parts from production equipment and handle them appropriately.
• Assemble parts per job instruction and handle appropriately.
• Ensure product quality parts follow work instructions.
• Keep work area clean, neat, orderly, and maintain good housekeeping techniques.
• Once qualified, assist in training new team members to perform job duties as required.
• Be authorized to initiate actions to prevent the occurrence of any nonconformities related to product, process, and quality systems.
• Perform other essential functions as assigned.

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Must be able to stand on a concrete floor for the duration of the work shift, walk, push, pull, reach overhead, bend to the floor, and use arms and hands.
• Must be able to exert up to 50 pounds of force occasionally and repetitively lift 10–20 pounds to a height of 48 inches.
• Visual precision is needed for reading documents and machine dial gauges.

Works in a stamping & assembling plant environment. Occasionally subject to high noise levels from operating machines, physical hazards from moving equipment and machine parts, inhaling fumes and dust, and skin exposure to oils and other fluids.
