Job DescriptionLead and support daily assembly department operations. Establish production plan that relates to the actual shipping times. Communicate and execute all change overs with General Associates and Finished Goods (FGA). All end of shift information is accurate and recorded. Train and assist associates on departmental procedures and work instructions. Complete required production quality and assist in troubleshooting process issues. Promote and maintain a safe work environment.
Support continuous improvement initiatives and departmental goals. Other duties as assigned.
Manufacturing or assembly process experience. Prior leadership or training experience. Knowledge of quality systems and process controls.
SkillsStrong communication and interpersonal skills. Positive attitude and professional behavior. Ability to lead and motivate team members. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to follow company policies and procedures. Demonstrated problem solving and decision-making abilities. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Flexibility to support changing production demands.
Communication SkillsMust be able to communicate effectively with associates, supervisors, engineering, quality, and management to ensure production, quality, safety and environmental requirements are met.
Physical RequirementsRegularly stand and walk for extended periods throughout the shift. Frequently bend, stoop, reach and perform repetitive motions. Lift, carry, push and pull materials weighing up to 55 pounds. Ability to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE), including chemical-resistant gloves, aprons, face shields, and safety glasses. Ability to distinguish colors and read gauges, meters, labels, and process documentation.
