The Machine Operator role at Findlay Vinyl is a full-time, on-site position located in Toledo, OH. The Machine Operator will set up, operate, and monitor production machinery used to manufacture swimming pool liners and covers, following established procedures and safety guidelines. Daily tasks include feeding materials into machines, making routine adjustments, inspecting products for defects, and performing basic maintenance such as cleaning and minor troubleshooting.
The role also involves working closely with team members to meet production schedules, accurately documenting production data, and reporting any equipment or quality issues to supervisors. The Machine Operator is expected to maintain a clean and organized work area and adhere to all workplace safety and quality standards.
- Candidates should possess strong Machine Operation skills and experience working with industrial Machinery in a manufacturing or production environment.
- Candidates should possess Quality Control capabilities, including visual inspection and measurement skills to ensure products meet specifications.
- Candidates should possess solid Communication skills to coordinate with team members, follow instructions, and accurately report production or safety issues.
- Candidates should possess a commitment to workplace safety, attention to detail, and the ability to stand for extended periods and lift materials as needed.
- Prior experience in plastics, vinyl, or similar production environments is beneficial; a high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
