Job Description
The position involves providing comprehensive obstetric care for women throughout the continuum of pregnancy, labor, and the postpartum period.
Responsibilities- Delivering outpatient care to OB/GYN patients, addressing both preventive and acute/chronic medical conditions.
- Conducting thorough assessments, diagnosing conditions, and formulating treatment plans.
- Offering patient education and counseling on various health issues.
- Performing necessary diagnostic procedures and tests relevant to obstetric care.
The weekly schedule includes two 8‑hour clinic days and one 24‑hour call day supported by OB Hospitalists, with a weekend call rotation of 1:4 (Friday/Saturday).
Qualifications- Current licensure and certification through the American Midwifery Certification Board.
- Experience in perinatal education, diabetes management, and addressing substance use issues.
- Ohio licensure required (or willingness to obtain).
- A minimum of 2 years of experience as a Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM).
- Must maintain a clean malpractice and licensure record.
- Board Certification is mandatory.
- State Licensure Requirements must be fulfilled in Ohio.
- Minimum 2 years of CNM experience is essential.
