Position Summary

The Expeditor/Food Runner plays a vital role in delivering an exceptional dining experience to our members and guests. This position ensures timely, accurate delivery of food from the kitchen to the dining room while maintaining presentation standards and clear communication between the front‑of‑house and back‑of‑house teams. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast‑paced environment and takes pride in providing attentive, polished service.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver food from the kitchen to dining areas quickly and efficiently.
  • Ensure all plates meet presentation and quality standards before leaving the kitchen.
  • Confirm orders are complete and accurate prior to delivery.
  • Communicate clearly with kitchen staff, servers, and management.
  • Assist in coordinating ticket times and managing food flow during peak service.
  • Provide table‑side support including announcing dishes and responding to basic guest needs.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of expo line, service stations, and dining areas.
  • Assist servers with clearing plates and resetting tables as needed.
  • Uphold the club’s standards of professionalism, hospitality, and member service.
Qualifications
  • Previous restaurant or hospitality experience preferred (country club experience a plus).
  • Ability to work days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
  • Must be able to lift and carry trays weighing up to 30 lbs.
  • Professional appearance and positive attitude.
  • Strong attention to detail and sense of urgency.
