Medical Historian

This Plasma Donor Screener is a part‑time role with shifts lasting 4–6 hours per day and 3+ days per week, including evenings, weekends and holidays. The position is located in Findlay, Ohio (USA).

• Answer phones, greet donors, and focus on delivering excellent customer service.
• Screen new and repeat donors, take and record donor vital signs and finger‑stick results.
• Use the Donor Information System to prepare donor charts, maintain accurate records, and coordinate donor compensation.
• Identify operational opportunities for continuous improvement and initiate changes to center processes using approved procedures.
• Work a variety of shifts, Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays to support center operations.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to walk, stand, lean, bend, stoop, crouch, and reach above shoulders and below knees for the entire work shift.
• Ability to lift up to 5 lb. and occasional lifting of materials up to 32 lb., rarely 50 lb.
• Fine motor coordination, depth perception, and ability to hear equipment from a distance.
• Experience of 1+ year in a customer or patient‑facing role (preferred).
• Willingness to wear gloves for 90% of tasks due to potential exposure to blood borne pathogens.
• Availability for evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Workplace Type:
Part‑time employee (Regular). Compensated hourly: $16.00.
