Sales Person

Summary

Sales Consultants must be based at Reineke Ford Lincoln in Findlay, OH 45840. They play a vital role in the dealership’s success by creating connections with customers, facilitating the identification of preferences, needs, and buying motives, assessing trade‑ins, presenting financial propositions, and satisfying other customer needs. They conduct vehicle delivery and follow up with customers after delivery.

Reports to:

Sales Team Leader or Sales Manager.

• Provide a high quality, effective, and professional sales experience to all customers while following the dealership’s sales process.
• Maintain high ethical standards in daily activities.
• Develop and maintain relationships with customers.
• Keep up to date with new products and changes in sales promotions.
• Work with the internet program, e‑Leads, to generate new sales and contact current and prospective customers, greeting customers as soon as they enter the dealership to create lasting relationships.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Customer service and interpersonal skills, ability to maintain composure in dealing with customers.
• 2+ years of sales, customer service, or related work experience.
• Willingness to work evenings and Saturdays as scheduled.
• Strong negotiation and presentation skills.

Sales Consultant is a non‑exempt position. Employees are required by Federal and State law and by Reineke Family Dealerships to keep an accurate record of all hours worked each day. Failure to comply can result in disciplinary action up to and including termination. The dealership is an “at‑will” employer; employment has no specific term and may be terminated at any time by either party on notice to the other.

Nothing in the commission or compensation plan should alter the at‑will employment relationship.
