As an Allied Universal Security Officer at a chemical and petrochemical location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence that can help to deter security-related incidents, and respond to concerns with strong customer service and communication. You will support site operations by documenting activity and partnering with teammates and on-site staff.

** What You'll Do:*
* + Provide customer service to site personnel and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a chemical and petrochemical location.

+ Control access to the facility by verifying identification, issuing temporary badges, managing vehicle entry and exit, and directing visitors and deliveries per post orders.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including activating notifications, coordinating with on-site contacts, and documenting actions taken.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, process areas, tank farms, loading zones, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify unusual conditions.

+ Complete detailed reports and logs, monitor alarms and cameras where assigned, and communicate observations promptly to Allied Universal leadership and site representatives.

* + Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
