Heavy Equipment Mechanic, Diesel Mechanic
Are you an experienced diesel mechanic who enjoys diagnosing problems, making repairs, and ensuring equipment is ready for the road? We're looking for a dependable technician to help maintain our heavy equipment. If you take pride in quality workmanship and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, we'd love to meet you.
What You'll Be Responsible For- Diagnose and repair diesel engines, drive trains, hydraulic systems, electrical components, and other mechanical systems
- Perform scheduled preventative maintenance to maximize equipment reliability and minimize downtime
- Conduct inspections to ensure equipment meet safety and operational standards
- Document repairs, maintenance performed, and parts used
- Collaborate with operations personnel to prioritize repairs and keep equipment in service
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Experience repairing heavy equipment
- Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
- Ability to safely operate shop tools and diagnostic equipment
- Dependable, detail-oriented, and committed to producing quality work
- CDL or ASE certifications are a plus but not required
