Penske Logistics is looking for warehouse associates to become part of an excellent team in Findlay, OH! This is a great opportunity for individuals who are safety conscious and have a pleasant, outgoing attitude who want to excel in a warehouse environment.

Training takes place on 1st shift for approx. 2 weeks.
Hourly Rate: $21.14 per hour + $1.00 shift differential
Overtime and additional weekend days may be required - notice is provided for required OT.

Brief DescriptionAs a sit-down clamp truck operator at Penske Logistics you will spend approximately 90% of your day on equipment, handling Whirlpool dishwashers (varied styles) with the other 10% having direct contact with smaller products (in-sink garbage disposals, wiring, tubing, hose clamps, etc.). Our clamp truck associates assist in picking orders, preparing and staging orders on the docks, and loading trailers. We cross train in all areas – once comfortable on the docks.
Job Responsibilities- Accurately stage and sort products for loading
- Loads and unloads trailers
- Sorts and places parts in racks or other designated areas
- Complies with all safety requirements
- Electronically scan products using a warehouse management system
- Quality control
- Ensure damaged products are identified and removed when received
- Reads production schedule, customer order, work order, shipping order, or requisition to determine items to be moved, gathered, or distributed
- Maintains inventory records
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks and a variety of warehouse mechanical equipment (where applicable)
- Other projects and tasks as assigned by supervisor
