Compensation and Benefits

• Average annual salary $71,700
• Retention bonus $5,000

• Monday through Friday
• 12:00 PM start time
• Home daily

• Safely perform drop-and-hook and live-load deliveries of manufacturing components to customers.
• Complete an average of 32 scheduled stops and 27 drop-and-hook assignments weekly.
• Perform pre- and post-trip inspections on all tractors and equipment used.
• Escalate equipment repair needs in a timely manner.
• Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor when interacting with customers and dispatch.

• Valid Class A CDL required.
• US domiciled, license in state of residence.
• Current or ability to obtain a non-exempt interstate DOT medical card.
• 1 year of documented tractor-trailer experience in the last 3 years or 2 years in the last 5 years required.
• 3 years of DMV/MVR record with two or fewer moving violations or accidents.
• Follow all federal and/or state laws, regulations, and/or agency rules, standards and guidelines.
• Regular, predictable, full attendance essential.
• English language proficiency required (49 C.F.R. 391.11(b)(2)).
• Work required schedule and location, complete Penske application, background investigation, and drug screening.
• Regulated by Department of Transportation or designated as safety sensitive; require constant alertness and safety compliance.
• Accept responsibility for own safety and safety of others.

• Must see and hear. Specific vision abilities required include close, distance, peripheral, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
• Requires frequent movement, standing, walking, sitting, using hands to touch, handle, feel, and reach; able to lift and move up to 50 lb (23 kg) regularly and up to 100 lb (45 kg) occasionally.
• Must legally operate a motor vehicle and safely enter/exit vehicle and rear cargo area.
