Warehouse Associate​/Web Order Shipping Specialist

Warehouse position focusing on pre-packing, packing, labeling and shipping of orders from internet sales. General warehouse duties including receiving, stocking, and general material handling. Standard hours: 7:30-4:30 M-F, plus one Saturday per month.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Prep, pack, and ship daily orders received from internet sales sites.

Pack orders in the correct package type specified, with a focus on damage prevention.

Ensure that the proper shipping label is applied to each package and that a packing slip is enclosed.

Double check to ensure that the shipped quantity is correct and that the proper item is shipped.

Ensure that special handling items include the proper customer notifications in the package.

Move all “ready” shipments to the staging area for the proper carrier. Assist the carriers in loading packages onto their trucks.

Prep/pre-pack fast moving items for future shipment.

General Warehouseman Duties.

Unload trucks, receive/check in products, report shortages or damage.

Put stock away in proper primary / secondary locations.

Maintain a safe, clean, and organized warehouse.

Notify your supervisor of any inventory discrepancies.

Assist as assigned with general warehouse duties for in store sales. Includes pulling and tagging orders for pickup or delivery and general material handling and stocking.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Work independently and as a team player.

Show basic computer literacy and be willing to learn computer systems and  physically able and willing to lift and move large objects.

Forklift certified or able to be certified
-with past experience.

Valid driver’s license.

Strong attention to detail.

Willingness and desire to learn and grow into other positions.#RHS
