Overview
Stores Attendant-B (Warehouse/Inventory) – Findlay, OH. Direct client engagement for a long-term/supplemental role in warehousing and inventory management. Duration: 12 months. Pay: $22/hour on W-2.
Schedule:
Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, overtime as needed.
- Issue material with proper authorization; process and file required records; may include picking up, hauling, delivering materials and operating standard company vehicles.
- Check received material for quantity; visually inspect identity, condition, and report any irregularities; initiate material receipt records.
- Identify, sort, and record material returns; place usable material in stock and divert non-usable material to scrap; document applicable information.
- Operate computer terminals and printers supporting the materials management system and other office equipment as required.
- Prepare and pack material for shipment or storage; assist with shipping papers and related records; may involve shipping hazardous materials under safety procedures.
- Operate material handling equipment such as hand trucks, forklifts, and other required equipment.
- Assist supervision with maintaining efficient storage, rearranging bins/racks, and updating material locations.
- Assist in maintaining appropriate inventory levels through cycle counts; perform discrepancy adjustments with approvals and document related records.
- Support coworkers and perform related or similar duties; follow Company safety rules and procedures.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in inventory control/management, material handling, warehousing, or related field.
- Basic computer skills; experience with Microsoft Excel and Word; familiarity with inventory software (Maximo) preferred.
- Ability to perform duties safely and lift up to 70 pounds; able to pass Physical Ability Test (PAT).
- Must possess a valid State driver’s license; CDL may be required and must be obtained within six months if applicable.
- Ability to operate material handling equipment, including motorized forklifts and road vehicles.
