Position Salary Range: $25.00 - $34.00
Schedule:
Monday - Friday: 8:30AM - 5:00PM
Paid time off:
- A combined accrual of 80 hours of PTO & Vacation.
- Up to 6 paid sick days per year. (varies based on state sick leave laws)
- 8 paid holidays
- 2 paid floating holidays.

Job Summary:
Cambridge Management is seeking a skilled Bookkeeper to maintain the financial records of a portfolio of affordable housing communities. The Bookkeeper will oversee the routine, day-to-day accounting activities for the assigned communities.
Responsibilities include, but not limited to:
- Accurately account for daily cash receipts and disbursements.
- Conduct routine ledger reconciliations and investigate variances as they arise.
- Fund monthly mortgage payments and reserve accounts (tax/insurance/replacement reserve).
- Process recurring journal entries.
- Conduct monthly accounts receivable and general ledger close for assigned properties.
- Generate month-end report packages.
- Finalize tenant move outs and process tenant associated refund transactions.
- Assist community staff with tenant ledger corrections.
- Assist with year-end audit requests.
Requirements
Skills and abilities:
- A working knowledge of basic accounting principles.
- High attention to detail.
- Thorough, dependable, and well-organized.
Required education:
- High school or equivalent.
Required experience:
- Prior Bookkeeping, accounts receivable, and accounts payable experience (3 years).
- Proficient in Excel, data management, formatting, and formulas.
Must be able to complete all required training within thirty (30) days of hire date.
Offers contingent upon successful completion of background check, and drug screen.
