Job Summary
Basic Functions:
Under the supervision of the Building Principal and Director of Student Services performs paraprofessional instructional and personal hygiene activities in specialized programs; to provide intensified learning experiences for students in general education classes, special education and resources specialist programs; to provide a variety of clerical and supportive tasks for instructional personnel; the district's speech program and any other duties assigned.
May transport students occasionally or serve as vehicle monitor.
Required
Education:
Applicant must meet NCLB requirements; 48 semester units or AA degree or pass para educator exam (for information go to (Use the "Apply for this Job" box below).) High School Diploma or equivalent First Aid and CPR certification
