Quality Assurance Tech

We are looking for a seasonal Quality Assurance Technician I to analyze all products throughout the process to confirm quality and customer specifications, conforming to all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs). This role will conduct root‑cause analysis and provide timely feedback with solutions to Operations and Quality teams regarding nonconformance products/processes at our Toma Tek plant in Firebaugh, CA.

The position supports our fresh‑pack season, typically June–October.

• Performs and understands lab document control.
• Maintains all required QA analysis documentation.
• Ensures that a product conforms to customer specifications.
• Records and reports all deviations to batcher lead or designee.
• Ensures shift pass‑down preparation is completed.

Requirements:

• High School Diploma, General Education Diploma (GED), or at least one year of relevant experience and/or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Computer skills and the ability to conduct mass and volume conversions and other calculations using addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, and averaging.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English to carry out essential duties.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs., reliability, and an excellent attendance record.
• Ability to pass a pre‑employment drug test, work extended hours, weekends, and any shift assigned during the fresh‑pack season, typically July to early October.
• Eligible for paid sick leave.
