The forklift driver operates and maintains a sit‑down forklift to load and unload pallets to and from trailers as well as move pallets to correct locations throughout the warehouse.
Essential Functions- Complete daily inspections of forklift using a checklist.
- Ensure forklift is in safe operating condition.
- Complete and confirm accuracy of loads on paper or electronically, verifying counts of good and bad loads as well as being the last to inspect all trailer loads.
- Move pallets from one area to another in the warehouse.
- Ensure that all materials that are moved from one location to the next are properly accounted for and marked for proper documentation.
- Maintain a clean and orderly work environment at all times.
- Maintain safe working conditions by following guidelines and procedures for handling all related equipment and material.
- Comply with all Propak policies and procedures, as well as federal and state safety rules.
- Assist in other areas of the warehouse as assigned to support and improve overall team operations.
- Adjust as needed to new reporting relationships, work assignments, and work schedules to meet the company needs and business requirements.

Certifications & Licenses:
Must pass Propak's forklift certification test.
The job requires lifting up to 51–100 lbs frequently and standing, walking, and manually manipulating pallets. The worker must be able to lift and push/pull loads ranging from 10 lbs or less to over 100 lbs, depending on the task.
- Sense of Sound – ability to hear horns and other safety alarms.
- Sense of Touch.
- Ability to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) – Steel‑toe safety shoes and safety glasses.
