Harley-Davidson of Indianapolis is looking for a Motorcycle Service Technician / Mechanic who shares our enthusiasm for motorcycles. • Deliver prompt, dependable, and high-quality service to both internal and external customers
• Perform repairs, maintenance, and customization to factory specifications
• Ensure timely and accurate completion of work
• Communicate effectively with Service Writers/Managers and customers to address service needs
• Keep the workspace and customers' vehicles clean and organized
• Maintain up-to-date technical certifications (PHD and more) through company-provided training

• Valid Motorcycle Endorsement.
• Will consider entry-level candidates who possess a strong mechanical background and are able to quickly attain necessary certifications.
• At least 2 years of Motorcycle/Powersport Technician experience preferred.
• Completion of a factory-authorized training program, such as MMI Service School or equivalent work experience.
• Service Technicians need both basic and special tools to properly diagnose and service our products. All Service Technicians are required to own a set of tools within the agreed timeframe. A list of required tools will be provided.
• Must pass pre-employment testing to include background checks, MVR, and drug screening.

• The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.
• Must be able to stand for long periods of time.
• Ability to keep balance and push large motorcycles.
• Requires the use of both hands.
• Frequently required to bend, stoop, crouch, reach, handle tools, and lift 75 lb. of material.
• Heavy work exerting up to 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 75 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 50 pounds of force constantly to move motorcycles and other objects.
