Role Description

The Automotive Technician is a full-time, on-site role based at Fishers Imports in Fishers, IN. This role is responsible for performing routine vehicle maintenance, including inspections, fluid checks, and scheduled services on pre-owned luxury vehicles. Day-to-day tasks include conducting oil changes, diagnosing mechanical issues, completing automotive repairs, and ensuring all maintenance and repairs meet safety and quality standards. The technician will service suspensions and other key systems, document work performed, and communicate clearly with service advisors about vehicle status and recommended repairs.

The role also involves maintaining a clean, safe workspace and following dealership and manufacturer guidelines.

Qualifications
  • Candidates should possess strong skills in vehicle maintenance and general maintenance & repair.
  • Candidates should possess practical experience performing oil changes and related routine services.
  • Candidates should possess proven abilities in automotive repair, including diagnostics and component replacement.
  • Candidates should possess knowledge of suspension systems and their inspection, maintenance, and repair.
  • Relevant automotive certifications (e.g., ASE or manufacturer-specific) are beneficial.
  • Previous experience working with luxury or high-end vehicles is a plus.
  • Ability to use diagnostic tools, follow repair manuals, and adhere to safety procedures.
  • Strong attention to detail, reliability, and the ability to work collaboratively in a service team.
