Position: Inclusive Education Teacher (0.8 FTE) - St. Bernadette's Elementary School

We are the Catholic Independent Schools of the Vancouver Archdiocese (the CISVA) operating 46 schools – 40 elementary and 6 high schools. JOB DESCRIPTION

St. Bernadette School is seeking a passionate, collaborative, and student‑centered Inclusive Education Teacher (0.80 FTE) to join our dedicated and faith‑filled team. The successful candidate will support students with diverse learning needs from Kindergarten to Grade 7 while working closely with classroom teachers, support staff, and families to foster student growth and success within an inclusive learning environment.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Support students with diverse learning needs (K–7)
  • Collaborate with classroom teachers, support staff, and families to implement individualized learning plans
  • Provide targeted interventions and inclusive strategies to enhance student success
  • Promote a welcoming, caring, and supportive learning environment for all students
  • Contribute positively to the faith life and culture of the school community
  • Participate actively in our robust extracurricular program
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Valid BC Teaching Certificate
  • Inclusive Education and/or Learning Resource experience is preferred
  • Strong collaboration, communication, and organizational skills
  • Commitment to Catholic education and the values of faith‑based learning
  • Experience working with students with ASD preferred

Priority will be given to Catholic applicants.
