Middle School Social Studies Teacher

Job Description

Eman Schools is seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Middle School Social Studies Teacher for the upcoming school year. We are looking for an educator who can deliver engaging, inquiry-based instruction in history, geography, civics, and related disciplines, while building strong relationships with students and families within an Islamic school environment.

The Middle School Social Studies Teacher will provide daily instruction to middle school students, develop and implement standards-aligned lesson plans, and work collaboratively with the middle school team to support student achievement and character development.

• Deliver engaging Social Studies instruction aligned with Indiana Academic Standards
• Plan and implement differentiated lessons to meet the needs of all learners
• Maintain strong classroom management and high academic expectations
• Monitor student progress through assessments and communicate regularly with families
• Collaborate with middle school faculty and administration
• Support student character development consistent with the mission of Eman Schools

• Bachelor's degree required (Social Studies, History, Education, or related field preferred)
• Valid Indiana teaching license with Social Studies endorsement (or willingness to obtain)
• Minimum 2 years of teaching experience preferred
• Strong content knowledge in middle school Social Studies curriculum
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
