Stoeppelwerth & Associates, Inc. is a growing family‑owned land surveying and civil engineering company that has been in business in the Central Indiana area for over 60 years. We specialize in the design of single and multi‑family developments as well as commercial projects. Our team works with clients and jurisdictions to transform small and large tracts of land into completed developments.

This includes land planning, zoning assistance, land surveying, color exhibits, preparation of construction plans, plats, construction staking, and as‑builts. We work with clients and their design team throughout the entire process culminating in final completion of construction. The Senior Civil CAD Technician is responsible for preparing and coordinating detailed civil engineering plans and construction documents for residential and commercial land development projects. Working directly with Project Managers and engineering staff, this position utilizes advanced CAD and Civil 3D expertise to transform engineering concepts into accurate project deliverables. The Senior Civil CAD Technician integrates engineering and survey data, supports projects from planning through construction, and serves as a technical resource to the project team while promoting quality and efficiency in project execution.

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Associate’s degree or technical certification in Computer‑Aided Drafting, Civil Engineering Technology, or a related field preferred.
• Equivalent combinations of education and relevant experience may be considered.

• Minimum of five (5) years of progressive CAD drafting experience within civil engineering, land development, surveying, or a related field.
• Advanced proficiency in Autodesk Civil 3D, AutoCAD, and Microsoft Office applications.
• Thorough understanding of residential and commercial land development design principles and construction documentation.
