Acuity Environmental Solutions (AcuityES) offers an excellent opportunity for a Senior Staff Scientist in the Indianapolis area. This position is for a qualified individual who wishes to pursue a career with a dynamic, employee-friendly, smaller company that conducts state of the art remediation projects throughout the United States.

The successful candidate…

• Familiar with extraction (water and vapor), sparging, chemical oxidation, chemical reduction, bioremediation and bioaugmentation technologies;
• Has knowledge of Indiana Department of Environmental Management (IDEM) Technical Requirements for Site Investigations and Remediation;
• Manages, trains and mentors entry level staff regarding remediation and engineering activities;
• Participates in field investigation activities including: soil boring, monitoring well installation, groundwater sampling, and vapor intrusion assessment;
• Able to develop project reports based on analysis and interpretations of findings of scientific experimentation and existing knowledge;
• Participates in the identification of viable remedial solutions consistent with all Federal, state, and local regulations.

• A Bachelors, Masters or Doctorate level degree in Geology, Engineering or Science;
• Greater than 4 years of environmental engineering/consulting experience is required;
• Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills;
• Professional Engineer (PE) or Licensed Professional Geologist (LPG) are preferred; and,
• A Background Check and a Drug Screening will be required.
