Your Impact Support prototype development and failure analysis to ensure product quality and reliability
Execute functional, durability, and destructive testing using established procedures
Configure and monitor standard lab equipment and processes for consistent, repeatable results
Document test setups, data, and findings for engineering teams
Build and modify prototypes, including ECU adjustments and custom tool creation
Assemble and disassemble mechanical and electrical components for analysis
Handle shipping, receiving, and material flow of prototype parts
Perform inspections and quality checks on incoming materials
What You Need To Succeed Hands-on experience with electro-mechanical testing equipment
Automotive experience, ideally with steering systems or IATF standards
Familiarity with test software and lab best practices
Basic machining skills with mills and lathes
Problem-solving mindset, strong communication, and team orientation
