QualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent required; valid Indiana driver’s license; reliable transportation; active auto insurance; current vehicle registration; and a clean criminal history and driving record. Current CPR/First Aid certification is preferred. Ideal candidates will have strong communication skills and be dependable, compassionate, flexible, and eager to learn.
Responsibilities may vary by homesite and can include:- Assist with daily living activities, including meal preparation and personal care support.
- Complete and maintain accurate daily documentation and reports.
- Provide transportation to work, community activities, and medical appointments as needed.
- Support individuals in learning about and preparing healthy meal options that encourage overall wellness.
- Demonstrate flexibility in changing situations and adapt to individual needs and daily routines.
- Participate in required meetings, trainings, and ongoing professional development.
