Overview
Senior Software Architect for the Video Management Software Solutions team based in Fishers, IN, near Indianapolis. Lead the design and architecture of enterprise-class video management systems, with focus on the Exacq product suite. This is a hybrid position requiring onsite presence 3 days a week. You must be within commuting distance to our Fishers, IN office, or our Westford, MA facility, or be willing to relocate to either location.
Responsibilities- Design and maintain a scalable, high-performance video management software solution that integrates with various security technologies, including Access Control.
- Review and enhance the architecture and framework design of VMS solutions to support large-scale enterprise deployments.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive product innovation and integration across security platforms including access control, intrusion detection, and video surveillance.
- Architect solutions that prioritize interoperability, scalability, and user experience, while ensuring compliance with industry standards such as CJIS, NIST, and GDPR.
- Leverage AI, machine learning, and computer vision to enhance video analytics and surveillance capabilities.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to engineering teams, guiding them through complex problem-solving and product development cycles.
- Manage product roadmaps, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality software that aligns with business goals and customer expectations.
- Develop and enforce best practices for software development, security, and data management, adhering to strict compliance and cybersecurity frameworks.
What you will need
- Minimum bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- 10+ years in software engineering with a focus on AI-driven innovations, cloud architecture, and enterprise solutions.
- Proven track record of designing and implementing scalable, on-prem and cloud-native microservices-driven architectures.
- Experience with video management software platforms.
- Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage large-scale software development projects.
Preferred
- Strong expertise in AI, machine learning, deep learning, computer vision, and NLP technologies.
HIRING SALARY RANGE: $120,000 - $161,000 (Salary to be determined by education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, location and market data).
