Position Overview: Theoris Services is assisting our clients in their search for an implementation Analyst/Training Specialist. This individua will join a team of others to implement, train and support a new management system. As an implementation specialist you will be required to travel onsite to various detention centers to assist in the launch of a new management system. Working closely with staff from the detention centers to understand their processes from incarceration, to release and other workflows.
Qualified candidates will have excellent communication skills, would be comfortable working in prisons or detention centers, ability to travel onsite for 2-3 days at a time, and can support the adoption of new technology.
Requirements/Qualifications:
- Must be a US Citizen or Green Card Holder ( NO Corp to Corp)
- Experience working in a judiciary setting, and comfortable working in a facility that houses criminals and inmates.
- Has excellent communication skills, is able to understand workflows, and business needs translating those into actionable items.
- Outstanding interpersonal skills and the ability to build and maintain relationships
- Experience training and educating adult end users on new systems (not required to be super technical but someone that can easily navigate a computer and has computer skills.)
- Ability to travel onsite to various Indiana facilities through the state for several days at a time.
- Valid drivers license and insurance with reliable transportation
- Lead and support implementations of Jail Management System software for county and municipal correctional facilities.
- Conduct discovery sessions with jail administrators, sheriffs, and facility staff to understand current booking, inmate management, and operational workflows and other systems that the Jail Management system will have to connect with.
- Analyze current-state processes and recommend efficient future-state workflows within the software platform.
- Facilitate onsite kickoff meetings, workflow reviews, and implementation planning sessions.
- Deliver instructor-led training to jail staff, administrators, and system users.
- Translate existing processes from legacy systems into the new application environment.
- Assist with data validation and user acceptance activities to ensure successful system conversions.
- Provide onsite go-live support, answer user questions, troubleshoot functional issues, and ensure smooth system adoption.
- Collaborate with technical teams regarding system interfaces and integrations with third-party criminal justice applications.
- Conduct post-implementation follow-up and ongoing functional support for customers.
- Maintain project documentation, training materials, and implementation deliverables.
- Travel to correctional facilities as needed throughout implementation projects.
