Industrial Mechanical Maintenance Technician
1st & 2nd Shift Industrial Mechanical Maintenance Technician responsible for the maintenance of building and mechanical equipment used for processing in an industrial laundry setting. Candidates should possess building and mechanical maintenance & repair knowledge, be detail-oriented, work autonomously, and comply with all health and safety guidelines.
Responsibilities- Servicing/maintaining equipment (including motors, conveyor system, HVAC system, compressors, and production machinery)
- Performing general building electrical & plumbing maintenance
- Completing machinery & building maintenance logs
- Communicating detailed progress on projects in progress
- Inspecting, assessing functionality, troubleshooting, and repairing production machinery
- Surveying buildings to ensure they are consistent with health/safety standards
- Installing or adjusting mechanical parts using hand and machine tools
- Conducting general upkeep procedures & other tasks as assigned
- Must have High School Diploma or GED
- Must have 2+ years of maintenance technician experience and provide own tools
- Ability to work 1st Shift (3a‑11:30a
* flex) or 2nd Shift (10a‑8p) onsite daily in the Indianapolis, IN facility - Knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and industrial control systems
- Working knowledge of hand and stationary tools
- Good communication, time management, and problem‑solving skills
- Ability to lift and manipulate heavy equipment
- Familiarity with OSHA safety standards & regulations
- Secondary education, degree, or certification in mechanical maintenance technology or relevant field a plus
- Boiler technical skills a plus
- Must be able and willing to pass a background check & drug screen (hair)
