Strategic Sourcing Manager

My client, a growing food ingredient manufacturing company in the Fishers, IN area is seeking a Strategic Sourcing Manager to join their dynamic team.

Strategic Sourcing Manager – Reporting to the Vice President of Strategic Sourcing, this position will be responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with vendors, drive value and cost savings and implement strategic sourcing plans.

• Be involved in the development and implementation of innovative processes to drive efficiencies
• Development and implementation of category strategies
• Stay current on market trends
• Create and execute negotiation strategies
• Prepare and maintain supplier scorecards
• Vendor selection and relations
• Drive risk management/hedging for assigned categories

• Bachelor’s Degree is required;
  Master’s preferred
• 5+ years of experience in a strategic sourcing role
• 5+ years managing packaging for a Consumer Packaged Goods Manufacturing Company. Packaging can include: cartons, corrugated, resins, foil, poly pouches, plastics, etc.
• Strong analytical skills
• Entrepreneurial spirit; self-motivated

This important, highly visible position must be in office 5 days per week. My client is offering generous compensation including bonus and relocation and growth potential in a progressive environment.

Compensation: $100-125k + 10-20% bonus + relocation assistance
