Production AssistantFull Time Manual Labor Fishers, IN, US
Objective:
Provide daily production progress updates and deliver accurate production data to Production Management. Perform KPI analysis to support operational performance, monitoring, and decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
Production Reporting & Data Management
- Verify, validate, and correct production data within I-Prod, SCADA, and Decisyon systems.
- Upload prior-day production data daily and distribute reports to Production leadership and Planning teams.
- Maintain and update databases with daily production availability for planning purposes.
- Collaborate with the Quality Department to reconcile packed quantities and ensure accurate lot closure.
- Prepare and report KPI metrics to management.
- Maintain and update the departmental scorecard.
- Generate quality reports, including Non-Online and Out of Specification (OOS) metrics.
- Help track inventories of key production materials.
Production Data Analysis
- Monitor, analyze, and report on key performance indicators, including OEE and scrap rates within the Vials area.
- Provide ongoing tracking and insights to support operational decision-making and efficiency improvements.
- Identify and source suppliers to support operational needs for services and consumables.
- Create purchase orders and ensure timely follow-up to meet production requirements.
- Obtain quotes from suppliers and manage purchase requisitions.
- Interface with procurement and finance on a daily basis.
- Ensure implementation and sustainability of 5S methodology within the assigned area.
- Support and track continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational performance.
- Assist in the management and closure of production-related findings and corrective actions.
Health, Safety & Environment (HSE)
- Comply with all safety regulations and company policies.
- Maintain active communication with the HSE Department to ensure all activities align with Safety, Health, and Environmental standards.
- Contribute to special projects relating to engineering, safety, quality, and training.
