Registered Nurse – Outpatient – Riley Orthopedics

This RN position with Riley Orthopedics is full‑time, onsite, primarily located at IUH Fishers. Duties include but are not limited to:

• Casting, suture and staple removal
• Wound checks
• Rooming patients
• DME/bracing placement
• Office‑based bracing procedures
• Assessment and triage of scheduled and walk‑in patients

The care team consists of Athletic Trainers, RNs, MAs, Cast Technicians, 7 operative physicians, 1 non‑operative sports medicine physician, and 8 physician assistants.

Monday – Friday, 10:00 am – 6:30 pm. No weekends, no holidays.

• Associate of Nursing (ASN);
  Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Indiana or an active Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) RN license.
• Graduated from a nationally accredited nursing program. Candidates with more than two years of relevant clinical experience may be considered if not from a nationally accredited program; subject to review and approval by the Chief Nursing Officer (CNO).
• Basic Life Support certification through the AHA. Other advanced Life Support certifications may be required per unit/department specialty.
• Ability to assess patients without face‑to‑face interaction.
• Awareness and understanding of legal implications of patient care activities and performance as a RN.

3–5 years of nursing experience in an ambulatory or orthopedic setting is preferred.
